PCGS Inventory Control Specialist

Responsible for handling and maintaining an accurate trade show inventory of customer orders while assisting customers in a professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-    Prepares for, attends and recaps all national on-site trade shows and represents company professionally while doing so
-    Sustains 100% accuracy while handling and maintaining customer orders and inventory documents
-    Ensures all procedures controlling the storage, tracking, and disbursement of customer show orders are followed
-    Utilizes computer system to maintain a perpetual inventory of all show orders and any other orders that may be transported to and from PCGS headquarters and possibly other PCGS locations
-    Precisely completes all paperwork to maintain proper records
-    Receives, distributes, and ships show inventory in accordance with company policies
-    Works with Customer Service Manager to refine and optimize show inventory control procedures as needed
-    Builds lasting rapport with new and existing clients
-    Maintains open communication with upper management
-    Assists customers in person, over the phone, and through e-mail correspondence 
-    Determines customers’ needs and offers appropriate products and services
-    Displays empathy for customer concerns and resolves according to company policies and procedures
-    Includes additional duties while not at national trade shows
-    Provides further support as requested

Minimum Qualifications:    

Education and/or Experience:     Two years college level education preferred.  High school diploma (or equivalent) and minimum of one year of customer service experience required. 

Language Skills:     Fluent in the English language, both oral and written communication.  Displays the ability to read/write instructions, correspondence, and memos with full comprehension.

Computer Skills:     Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Reasoning Ability:     Applies common sense when carrying out instructions furnished either in writing, oral, or diagram form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.  Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for conversation, e-mail correspondence, and the inspection process of receiving submissions. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move approximately 45 pounds or possibly more.

Work Environment:    The job is performed indoors at a variety of locations including an office setting, convention center, sporting arena, hotel meeting area, warehouses, and onsite at customer locations.  Activities include extensive work at a computer, sitting and standing for extended periods of time.  The noise level is usually moderate with an occasional fluctuation.
