Accounts Payable Coordinator

Responsible for the Accounts Payable activities for the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities• G/L Code and process all invoices and expense reports.
• Approve G/L codes on Purchase Orders. 
• Generate A/P and A/R refunds checks and match invoices to PO’s and receivers.
• Resolve Accounts Payable issues with vendors, as needed.
• Reconcile vendor account statements.
• Calculate A/P accrual for month end close.
• Process 1099’s on an annual basis.
• Ensure invoices without PO’s are properly authorized before entering in the Navision system.
• Ensure credits are received for all returns.
• Process all credit memo’s from vendors
• Void checks after stop payments are processed.
• Request /cancel American Express Card  cards for Employees
• Set up new vendors

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and minimum 5-8 year accounts payable experience.
 

Language Skills                      
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.  The ability to write correspondence.

Reasoning Ability                      Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Computer Skills                      To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office products.
