This example displays MS-65 quality on 98% of its surface area, but a squiggly little scrape beneath Lady Liberty’s jaw eliminates its chance for an upgrade (PCGS should have at least awarded it a Plus (+) designation though). The cheek is clean and puffy. The details on all the raised devices are bold. The white luster is as good it gets on this semi-key date from the Philadelphia Mint. Simply a wonderful specimen.
